Seiko SSA464J1 PRESAGE Automatic Open Heart

A new addition to the Japanese Zen Garden Series, this Presage timepiece is inspired by the traditional Japanese rock or dry garden, representative of Japan’s ancient appreciation of nature.

Under a dual-curve sapphire crystal glass is a light gold-coloured three-dimensional pattern, reminiscent of the sand patterns of a Japanese dry garden. With a glossy finish on the dial, the light yellow colours depict the glittering temples of the Japanese garden. A curved minute and second hand add extra elegance, whilst the gold-coloured second hand sweeps over an open-heart. It features the recognisable ‘Karesansui’ pattern, designed to look like the raked sand or gravel that promotes mindfulness.

The open-heart display at the 9 o’clock position showcases the beauty of Seiko Japanese watchmaking craft within, and the in-house built automatic calibre.
