Seiko Prospex Turtle SPB335J1 Limited Edition

The Seiko Prospex Turtle SPB335J1 is one of Seiko’s many iconic diving watches that have garnered enough enthusiasm to be warranted a nickname. The Turtle nickname is easily explained when you squint a little bit. You can see the resemblance but also that it is actually a very comfortable, logical shape for a watch. The SPB335J1 has a very comfortable wrist presence with its 41mm diameter, while also having a very reasonable 12.5mm thickness and 46.9mm lug to lug distance. This ensures it will also fit a smaller wrist than you’d expect, especially with the clever crown placement at 4 o’clock.

Under the hood is the in-house Seiko Cal. 6R35 movement. This sturdy workhorse features an impressive 70 hour power reserve.

Of course the watch is also very capable of dealing with water, due to the 200m water resistance. This special, limited, edition has been given the Seiko Black treatment, which means a sturdy black coating on the case and amazingly bright green LumiBrite Pro lume.
